New Scholarship Opportunity for Perry Meridian High School Students
Youth Excel in Service Scholarship
The Perry Township Education Foundation is proud to announce a new scholarship opportuntiy through the Service Learning Endwoment for Perry Meridian High School students: the Youth Excel in Service Scholarship.
This scholarship was created to recognize and support students who have demonstrated a commitment to serving others and making a positive impact in their school and community. Whether through service-learning projects, involvement in service clubs, or participation in local nonprofit organizations, this award celebrates students who lead with purpose and initiative.
Scholarship Eligibility & Criteria
To be considered for the Youth Excel in Service Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5

Plan to attend a two-year or four-year Indiana college or university, or another approved post-graduation program

Demonstrate a strong background in service, which may include:

Classroom-based service-learning projects

Participation in service clubs or school organizations

Active involvement with local nonprofit organizations or community initiatives

Show a clear understanding of how initiative, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills can be used to address real community needs and create meaningful change
Celebrating Service-Minded Students
The Youth Excel in Service Scholarship honors students who recognize the value of giving back and who actively use their talents to strengthen their communities. Through this scholarship, the Perry Township Education Foundation along with the Kuntz Service Learning Endowment continues its mission to invest in students who lead with heart, responsibility, and a desire to serve.
