Honor An Educator
Join the “PTEF Honor an Educator” Sign Campaign.
In a world where educators play a pivotal role in shaping the future, it’s time to celebrate and recognize their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to the students they inspire. That’s why we are thrilled to introduce the “Honor an Educator” Sign Campaign – a heartwarming way to pay tribute to the teachers who make a difference every day.
“My kids loved this project! They were engaged because this project allowed students to choose their favorite book to review. This created motivation for the project. Students enjoyed watching their voice recordings turn into a QR code. They were excited to take a copy home to their families to listen and keep!” – Jenn Sipe, Rosa Parks-Edison Elementary School
Dedicate a Sign: We invite you to participate by dedicating a sign to an educator who has left a lasting impact on you or your child’s life. These signs will feature heartfelt messages of gratitude and admiration. Each sign is $30. All orders must be in by 11/20/2023.
Personalized Messages: You can personalize your message with a letter from PTEF to your educator. Let your creativity shine as you express your appreciation. They will receive it prior to their sign being placed at their school. Send your message directly to PTEF@PerrySchools.org – use Honor An Educator in the subject line.
Display Around Schools: The signs will be displayed at their school, creating a touching and visible tribute to our educators. They’ll be greeted by a corridor of gratitude and love each day. The signs will be placed by November 27th and they will take the signs home during winter break.
Community Involvement: This campaign encourages families, students, and community members to come together and participate. It’s a wonderful opportunity to involve children in showing appreciation for their teachers.
Share on Social Media: Use the campaign’s hashtag to share photos of the signs and your messages on social media, spreading the appreciation far and wide.
Memorials & Planned Giving
There are multiple ways to honor a loved one through the Perry Township Education Foundation.
PTEF is excited to offer the Memorial Bricks in front of the Administration Building. You can add a brick for birthdays, graduations, in memory of a loved one, and for alumni. You can choose from two brick sizes; 4×8 or 8×8 with the choice of a three-line inscription. Contact us.
PTEF is honored to be named in a loved one's wishes in lieu of flowers at memorial services. Your donation will be recognized and sent to the family to show your love and support. Contact us.
We can inform your honoree (or his or her family) of your memorial gift. You can even make your special contribution online, just include the honoree’s name and the contact information for anyone who should be notified of your gift in the “comments” field.
Please keep the Foundation in mind during estate planning for yourself and your loved ones. Contributions can be made through a named endowment or anonymously. For more information, please contact us.
Thank you for considering supporting the Foundation through payroll contribution. It’s quick, easy, and is a tax-deductible contribution! This is a perfect way to support creativity and innovation for every student in Perry Township Schools.
Teachers, administrators, and staff members employed through Perry Township Schools can make regular donations through payroll deductions.
We understand that financial matters are personal, and we respect your decision, whatever it may be. However, we encourage you to consider the benefits of this program and how it can support your Perry Schools.
The BMV offers a license plate to benefit the Perry Township Education Foundation.
Purchasing an Education or “Hoosier Family of Readers” license plate in Indiana supports your schools. Nearly $19 of the specialty plate’s administration fee is sent to your selected school’s education foundation. In turn, the foundation uses those funds for teacher grants and innovative programs that enhance learning for all students in the district. Support our children and our schools by purchasing the “Education” license plate on your vehicle this year.
